Train GIF Scenes

These glimpses of virtual railroad empires can be based on fact or whimsical "what if" scenarios. They combine TrainGIFs with backgrounds and other elements to create a scene packed with action.

Some scenes may be animated using Internet Explorer's MARQUEE tag, which may not work in all browsers. Others are animated by the use of JavaScript, and may require reloading or refreshing the page after 60 seconds or so to begin the animation.

Scenic action along Washington's Puget Sound. Trains include Burlington Northern and Union Pacific freights with consists typical of the mid-1980's. Amtrak also operated three name trains along this line: Mount Rainier, Coast Starlight, and Pioneer.
