The extended vision caboose comes to mind as the most "typical" BN caboose. However, BN inherited a wide variety of caboose styles with the merger of the NP, GN, CB&Q and SP&S in 1970. Variations abounded with window placement, window removal & covering, paint and lettering and the position of underbody equipment, even within the same class.
